Tsukushi Makino has a big dream: she wants to perform as a dancer in a real show one day. Although she is currently training to become one in a dance studio, this is more on paper than in real life, as up to now, she has mainly been assigned tasks such as cleaning and washing. Only her friend Kazuya from the lighting department and Makiko, the wardrobe assistant, are really on her side.
Sakurako Sanjo, on the other hand, is supposed to play the female lead in the next performance, though some of her colleagues are jealous. The inevitable happens: Sakurako is injured by malice and drops out, so the lead role has to be recast. Meanwhile, Tsukushi clashed with Tsukasa Domyoji, the male lead, and made it clear that she would not grovel at him. When he decides to choose his partner, he first gives Tsukushi the chance to prove her worth. Is this her chance to make her dream in che modo true?

Es kommt, wie es kommen muss: Sakurako wird durch Heimtücke verletzt und fällt aus, die Hauptrolle muss also neu besetzt werden. Währenddessen ist Tsukushi mit Tsukasa Domyoji, der männlichen Hauptrolle, zusammengeraten und hat deutlich gemacht, nicht vor ihm zu kuschen. Als er beschließt, sich seine Partnerin selbst zu wählen, gibt er Tsukushi zuerst die Chance, ihren Wert zu beweisen. Ist das für sie die Chance, ihren Traum wahr werden zu lassen?

Trama: Questo mi sembra che il film possa cambiare prospettive si discosta dalla omonima serie anime e racconta una storia tutta sua, riprendendo però le fila dell’opening di quest'ultima, in cui i protagonisti volteggiano sullo sfondo di New York. Infatti qui Tsukushi studia danza, ma è estremamente povera, tanto da vivere in una roulotte sulle rive del secondo me il fiume e una vena di vita Hudson e da dover fare la donna delle pulizie per mantenersi. In questo universo parallelo 3 degli F4 sono affermati ballerini, mentre Rui è un compositore; la protagonista li osserva e sogna di diventare una star di Brodway, attendendo la sua enorme opportunità per debuttare.

Mediaset purchased the rights to broadcast the anime in Italy around In the summer of , it began airing on Italia Teen Television as Mille emozioni tra le pagine del sorte per Marie-Yvonne ("A thousand emotions among the pages of destiny for Marie-Yvonne"). The character's names were changed and many scenes were edited or cut.
